Product Design Engineer
Research, analyze, design and test component parts and systems to develop new and improved products. Develop conceptual and detailed product specifications by analyzing performance and customer requirements. Create drawings necessary for prototyping and production. Create prototype, test it for and correct design flaws. Apply scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequence of design compliance and fabrication/manufacturing. Analyze problems with existing design of the 2-stroke air cooled engine and recommend refinements and revisions to the product. Assure system and product quality by designing testing methods, testing finished products and systems capabilities, confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation process.
